Players Teaching Players is a group of current players determined to inspire, develop, and mentor young athletes. A peer-led sports mentorship program for youth.

Youth sports programs offered at the Upper Main Line YMCA, with access to outdoor turf fields, basketball courts, hockey rinks, and more. Contact the branch for specific sport offerings and schedules.

Foundational instruction covers running, passing, catching, and flag pulling in this non-contact football program. Leagues are run in association with NFL Flag Football.

CPR and First Aid certification classes available for teens at the Upper Main Line YMCA. Provides skills and knowledge to assist adults, children, and infants during breathing, cardiac, and first aid emergencies.

Explore over 20 acres of diverse habitats including woodlands, wetlands, meadow, and more than 5 miles of trails at the Cassatt Preserve. Activities include bird walks, hikes, and canoeing, with over 130 bird species recorded on the grounds.

Child Watch drop-in supervision service at the Upper Main Line YMCA, allowing parents to use the facility while their children are safely supervised. Includes access to an indoor playground.

Kids learn about hawks and owls through up-close encounters with resident birds that serve as educational ambassadors alongside the raptor care team. All birds are permanent residents from wildlife rehabilitation centers and cannot be released to the wild.

Children interact with goats, sheep, and chickens while learning about the importance of farms and daily farm work right on the Main Line. A hands-on agricultural experience popular with visitors, students, and campers alike.

Students explore water systems through hands-on study of macroinvertebrates, water testing, stream erosion, and plant life in the Watershed Lab, with direct access to Darby Creek. A great opportunity for kids to learn about local ecology and environmental stewardship.

Through service projects, field trips, and outdoor adventures, students develop into confident and responsible environmental leaders. The program emphasizes environmental literacy and stewardship for young participants.

Silkie's Farm is a sustainable alpaca farm offering agritours, fiber classes, and farm-based programming for kids and families. A unique outdoor and nature experience.

Kids learn pickleball, a fast-growing sport that combines elements of tennis, table tennis, and badminton. Fun and easy to pick up for players of all skill levels.

School and community groups can visit the 54-acre Environmental and STEM Education Complex for guided field trips covering stream ecology, watershed exploration, and animal ambassador encounters. A hands-on educational experience for students of all ages.

Kids are taught the skills and techniques of archery, an Olympic sport that emphasizes accuracy and safety. A unique and focused activity for young athletes.
