Mister John's Music

We started our daughter with music class when she just turned one. It's not your typical baby music class. It's a fun experience for the entire family. My husband and I truly look forward to attending each week. The routine of the class also helped reinforce the concepts of cleaning up, waiting your turn, and sharing. Our daughter even incorporates what she sees in class into her play at home. And whenever she hears the ABCs, she has her pointer fingers up and ready to go. She's truly a Mister John's kid! This is a class I highly recommend to any parents with littles. We love seeing Miss Fawz every week in Moorestown and learning about the Artist of the Week. Still can't believe she learned to play guitar in such a short amount of time - she's a rock star! We were also fortunate to have Mister John teach our first few sessions. Thank you Mister John for sharing the magic of music to Adriana and cultivating the values of acceptance, kindness, compassion, love, etc. that we want to instill in her.

Dr. Steve is an incredibly talented and patient teacher. My kids (10 and 12) have been his students for 4 years and they continue to love going to class. Dr. Steve teaches them not only to read sheet music, but he gives them tools to create their own music. The "jam sessions" at the end of each class allow them to be creative and expressive- a far departure from traditional music lessons. Dr. Steve teaches his students to enjoy playing an instrument without needing to have sheet music in front of them, and that is a true gift.

We just went to a 3 year olds birthday party with Cat and she was amazing!! She really entertained the kids and even the adults were dancing. It was in a living room at their townhouse and I was so impressed. Loved it!! So interactive. Lots of props.

My daughter has attended Mister John's Music classes since she was a baby, and if I could give it 10 stars, I would. Mister John and his staff are knowledgable and truly magical. Babies, kids and adults get a chance to interact with music and learn in a variety of ways. We loved our early childhood classes with Mister John, Miss Alexis, Mister Bobby, Miss Fawz and Miss Anna. When my daughter was a baby, the classes were so enjoyable for both of us. For me as a new mom, it was especially impactful for me to join a community and share the love of music with my new baby! It is even more exciting to see my daughter continue to love music and enjoy performing as she has grown into Miss Heather's introduction to piano class. Mister John and his staff celebrate every child and individual that enters their space, and I am so thankful that we found this special place!

I have experienced 5 different music sessions with Mister John’s Music as a caregiver for various nanny babies. While each class was enjoyable and educational, it’s Miss Alexis who brings the magic to the classroom. She is an engaging teacher and a gifted artist.
