About Main Line Activities
We built Main Line Activities because finding kids programs shouldn't depend on knowing the right people or being in the right Facebook group. Every family deserves access to the same information — one search, every activity.

Our mission
Main Line Activities is a free, independent directory of kids programs across the Philadelphia Main Line and R5 corridor suburbs. We aggregate data from township recreation departments, YMCAs, libraries, sports clubs, arts studios, and community organizations so parents can discover everything available in one place — without spending hours on township websites, buried Facebook group threads, or word-of-mouth networks that not everyone has access to.
The Main Line has extraordinary resources for kids: nature education centers, community art centers with free access programs, YMCA aquatics facilities, well-funded township recreation departments, and dozens of private studios and schools. But those resources have historically been most accessible to families who already know where to look — families who are plugged into the community, have older kids who've done it before, or have social networks that circulate this kind of information informally. We built this directory because great programs should be easy to find for everyone.
We are not affiliated with any provider. Any listings for which we've received compensation are clearly marked as promoted listings. Our only goal is to make it easier for families in the Philadelphia suburbs to find great activities for their kids.

How our data works
Program listings come from three sources: automated crawls of provider websites and township recreation portals, community submissions via our "Add a program" form, and manual research by our team. We refresh data regularly, but schedules and availability change — always confirm with the provider before registering.
Reviews are community-submitted and represent the opinions of individual parents. We also surface Google Maps ratings from providers to give you a fuller picture.
