These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of mainlineactivities.com (the "Site") operated by Main Line Activities ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About the Site
Main Line Activities is a free directory of children's programs, classes, camps, and activities in the Philadelphia Main Line and surrounding communities. The Site aggregates publicly available information about programs offered by third-party providers — recreation departments, YMCAs, libraries, sports clubs, arts studios, and other organizations — for the convenience of parents and caregivers. Main Line Activities is not affiliated with any listed provider.
2. Accuracy of Information
We work to keep program listings accurate and up to date. However, program schedules, registration dates, costs, age requirements, and availability change frequently. We make no warranty that the information on the Site is current, complete, or error-free.
Always confirm program details directly with the provider before registering or paying. Main Line Activities is not responsible for changes in program availability, cost, schedule, or cancellation.
3. User Submissions
You may submit programs, leave reviews, and otherwise contribute content to the Site. By submitting content you represent that:
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You are not submitting false, misleading, defamatory, or spam content.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use the content you submit on the Site.
We reserve the right to remove any submitted content at our discretion, including content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, or in violation of these Terms.
4. Third-Party Links
Program listings link to the websites of third-party providers. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or any other aspect of those external sites. Clicking through to a provider's website is at your own discretion. Any transaction you complete with a provider — including registration, payment, or attendance — is solely between you and that provider.
5. Reviews and Ratings
Reviews and ratings on the Site are submitted by community members and reflect their personal opinions. Main Line Activities does not verify the accuracy of reviews. We also display reviews and ratings sourced from Google Maps as a convenience; those reviews are the property of Google and the reviewers and are subject to Google's terms. We are not responsible for the content of any review, whether community-submitted or sourced from Google.
6. Advertising
The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content. Promoted listings — programs for which we have received payment — are marked as such. Our advertising relationships do not affect how unpaid listings are ranked or displayed.
7. Intellectual Property
The original content on the Site — including editorial text, blog posts, site design, and code — is owned by Main Line Activities and protected by copyright. You may share links to the Site freely. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute our original content without written permission. Program information (names, schedules, descriptions) originates with the providers and is reproduced here for informational purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Main Line Activities is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, reliance on program information, or any interaction with a listed provider. Your use of this Site is at your own risk.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
