Campers become ecology experts by exploring nature trails and creeks, crafting with natural materials, and building animal habitat models and terrariums. Includes a field trip to the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science.

Disc Golf Park at Haverford Reserve
An 18-hole disc golf course open to all skill levels — beginners, intermediate, and advanced players. The course is located at Haverford Reserve with parking along Parkview Drive.
Counselors In Training (CIT) Program
A limited-enrollment leadership program for students entering 7th and 8th grade who want to gain counselor experience at Summer Adventures Camp. Priority is given to returning campers; interested students should email brandywinevalleyrecreation@gmail.com.
Fall/Spring Nature Exploration School Field Trip
Students explore Haverford Reserve searching for signs of animals, learning about bird migration, squirrels, worms, and water critters. Designed for Grades K-1 and addresses science standards 3.1.
Open Play at the Youth Center!
Open play sessions at the Youth Center in Bensalem Township, offering kids a fun, unstructured environment to play and socialize. Held on Monday mornings.
Baby-Sitters Club Fan Club
A club for fans of the Baby-Sitters Club chapter books and graphic novels in grades 2-5, featuring book chats, trivia, and more. A fun gathering for young BSC enthusiasts.

All About Animals School Field Trip
A crowd-favorite field trip where students compare adaptive mechanisms of mammals and plants, and learn about habitats and the needs they meet for wildlife. Designed for Grades 2-5.
Radnor Day Camp 2026
Six-week summer day camp for grades 1–9 at Radnor High School featuring arts & crafts, sports, swimming, and special events. Believed to be one of the oldest continually running day camps in the US, operating since 1941.
Youth Basketball
Kids learn the foundational skills of basketball including dribbling, passing, and shooting. Basketball was actually invented at the Y!
Youth Volleyball
Kids learn the skills needed to compete in volleyball, including bumping, setting, and volleying. A great sport for building teamwork and coordination.
Youth Lacrosse
Kids learn proper lacrosse techniques including cradling, scooping, passing, catching, and shooting. A great introduction to one of the fastest-growing youth sports.
Swim Teams
Competitive swim teams available at multiple YMCA branch locations, focused on developing strong swimmers and great team members through character-building values. Synchronized/artistic swim teams are also available at the Phoenixville Y.
