5 months agoDiscounts on admission if purchased online. If a veteran, student or EBT holder, there are larger discounts that can be claimed in person. Area is quite expansive with a bunch of trails and places to checkout. Not sure winter is the best time to explore the gardens given the seasonal nature of many of the plants. However it is peaceful. No dogs, bikes or scooters are allowed in the arboretum. If you want to take a walk with your furry friend, venture to the state park next door.

8 months agoThis place is beautiful, was able to visit with a volunteer group, I was the bus driver. Lots of old buildings with history back to late 1600s and 1700s. There are paved trails and woodland hikes, they have events, weddings, church groups. It is a very peaceful place, some odd buildings to see. If you visit make sure to find the book to read along the trails, it starts around the goblin house. I was told to buy tickets online, I would save a few $

9 months agoGravel paths and tar paths great for walkers (rolators) , Use bathroom in The Barn. Easily accessible. Ask at desk where benches are on paths if you need them. Don't forget to stop at store in visitor center. Beautiful any time of year.

a year agoLovely! Parking: easily accessible! Very close to the entrance of the arboretum! Restrooms: well maintained and clean! Experience: multiple sights to enjoy! Can go through as fast or as slow as youโd like! I was able to see every attraction on the map and took about 2 hours or so, but you could definitely go through faster! Tickets: I went through my local library for a free pass!!!

a year agoTyler Arboretum is a nice area to spend time strolling around the grounds and through the lovely wooded areas. There one will see the most beautiful and massive trees. The North Woods is a great area to walk on a hot day. There is a nice gift shop and restrooms in the Visitor's Center.
