Music Lessons — All Instruments, Grades K–12

I've only been taking lessons with Chet (guitar, songwriting) for a little while, but I can honestly say that it's a great experience. I've been playing guitar for about 10 years, but have very minimal training and haven't taken a lesson since I first picked the instrument up. Chet has been great at working with me to understand key aspects of music and music theory in a way that's both fun and functional, which really helps make everything click. It also helps that he's clearly knows what he's talking about and is a cool and relatable guy. I've already encountered an issue which forced a last minute reschedule and Chet was extremely understanding and accommodating and we were able to move my one hour lesson (they're also available by the half, but I prefer a little more time) from 5 PM to 7 PM the same day. He's really made everything easy to handle and simple to approach in a circle I've previously viewed as a little daunting and stigmatizing. It's really easy to find a judgmental and hard to understand teacher, but someone who's understanding and good at getting the point across like Chet has been a real treat that I look forward to continuing.
