⛺ Summer Camps for Kids on the Main Line
The Main Line is home to hundreds of summer camp programs — from half-day programs at township recreation departments to week-long specialty camps in robotics, theater, horseback riding, and wilderness survival. Wayne, Berwyn, Paoli, Ardmore, and the surrounding R5 corridor towns offer something for virtually every interest and age range, whether your child is four or fourteen.
Many beloved summer camps operate through Tredyffrin-Easttown, Lower Merion, Radnor, and other township rec departments, offering affordable options with straightforward registration. YMCAs in Wayne, Phoenixville, and Havertown run their own programs from June through August, with transportation options from multiple pickup points and full-day schedules that work for working families.
Specialty camps — STEM, performing arts, sports clinics, outdoor adventure, and more — are offered by independent providers throughout the region. Many programs fill quickly by spring, particularly those for the 5–10 age bracket, so it's worth registering by March or April if you have your heart set on a specific program.
