ESF Summer Day Camp at The Haverford School

This camp is wonderful. The staff are so upbeat and fun from the moment you drop off to pickup. There are so many activities to choose from and they really get that camp feeling without having to to go overnight camp. They have an indoor pool so kids can still swim when it rains. 10/10 highly recommend!

We signed up in Dec-24 and paid over $9000 7 months in advance for summer camps. When we needed to make some schedule changes in January 2025, it was impossible to get a hold of anybody. After so many calls and emails, 4 months later we are here frustrated that nobody has been responding to our inquiry. I can't believe how irresponsible this camp is. How am I supposed to trust you with my child for the entire summer? This has been a very negative experience even before the start of the camp. Update Aug-2025: the camp was run very professionally once it started and my kids had a lot of fun which is why im updating my review. We never got a refund or any acknowledgement from ESF which explains my 3 star rating. If you're sure about your summer schedule, this is a great camp and you'll love it. If you're still uncertain, it will be a big hassle to request a change/refund.

This camp is outstanding! My daughter had an amazing experience, and every time we pass the campus, she asks when she can return. The administrators carefully select and train top-tier counselors and keep parents well-informed about all the exciting activities.

My son had an absolutely incredible time at camp this year! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the camp staff were dedicated to creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for all the kids. The variety of activities was amazing—every day was filled with new adventures.

My daughter had BEST experience at ESF Camps at Haverford!! She was fearful of water and is now swimming!! The staff is amazing and she made some really nice friends and had a blast! Thank you so much ESF! She is already talking about next year and can’t wait!!!
