Youth Lacrosse
Independent community recreation boys lacrosse program serving Radnor Township. Focuses on skill development, fundamentals, and a love of the game in a supportive recreational environment.
Kids Karate & Kickboxing
Karate and kickboxing classes for children ages 3 through teens at PRO Martial Arts in Wayne, PA. Little Rhinos program (ages 3-5) introduces martial arts basics; youth classes (ages 5-12) build self-defense, confidence, and character. Free trial available.
Lower Merion Recreation Summer Day Camp
A week-long day camp for children held at township parks in the Bala Cynwyd area. Activities include sports, arts and crafts, nature exploration, and games. Experienced staff supervise all activities in a safe outdoor setting.
Youth Art Classes & Summer Camp

Budding Naturalists β Toddler Nature Play
Weekly caregiver-and-child nature sessions for ages 2-5 at Riverbend Preserve in Gladwyne. Each 60-minute class includes a story, craft, nature activity, and hike on the preserve. 6-week sessions capped at 12 families, with a campfire & s'mores at the final meeting. Caregiver required.
Cynwyd Heritage Trail Youth Nature Walks
Guided nature walks along the Cynwyd Heritage Trail in Bala Cynwyd, designed for families and young children. Volunteers teach kids to identify local birds, plants, and insects along this restored rail trail. Free and open to all ages.
TEREC Youth Basketball League
Recreational basketball league for youth in the Paoli area, organized by the Tredyffrin-Easttown Recreation Commission. Teams practice and compete at local gyms across the township. The program emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, and team play.
Paoli Library Story Time
Weekly story time program at the Tredyffrin Public Library's Paoli branch for young children in the Paoli community. Librarians read picture books, sing songs, and lead simple crafts to build early literacy skills. Free and drop-in friendly.
Valley Forge Junior Ranger Program
The Junior Ranger Program at Valley Forge National Historical Park invites children near Paoli to explore history and nature through self-guided activities and ranger-led tours. Kids earn a Junior Ranger badge upon completing the activity booklet. A wonderful introduction to national parks.
Haverford Township Free Library STEM Club
Monthly STEM club for school-age children at the Haverford Township Free Library. Kids tackle hands-on challenges in coding, engineering, and science using kits and supplies provided by the library. All sessions are free and open to Haverford Township residents.
Haverford Township Recreation Swim Lessons
Swim lessons for children at Haverford Township's public pool, taught by Red Cross-certified instructors. Levels range from beginner water safety to advanced stroke technique. Summer session registration opens each spring for Haverford Township residents.
