3 months agoThe Coatesville YMCA and their other sister branches have great gym facilities with updated equipment for weight training (my sport of choice). The workout classes (e.g., Body Pump with Dorothy Evans) are fun and offer a needed change from my humdrum lifting sessions. My daughter has attended the pottery class offered at the Lionville location several times which she adores; it also supplies me with heartwarming keepsakes which adorn my office desk. The year-round indoor pools and summer outdoor pools are fun for my whole family. Additionally the YMCA has several branches located throughout the Brandywine Valley which I conveniently use after work or when I am at home.

8 months agoI recently enrolled for the membership in this YMCA. The staff is FRIENDLY and able to assist with all the information that we need. The ymca app is very good and easy to check all the scheduled activities and classes.. The outdoor pool is really good. They have a lot of activities during the day as well as in the evening like yoga, meditation, workouts etc . They have a decent parking lot.

3 months agoThe amount of closures due to some snow is absolutely insane. You people really need to figure out how to stay open when it snows. Closing at 4pm before it even starts snowing is a joke. What a bunch of babies. Alpha phlyte will be open and is now less expensive than your prices which is insane. There was nothing wrong with the previous equipment and replacing it doesnt mean you should up your prices......again. $60 for the y is way to expensive, especially for the amount of closures. Do better.

8 months agoI recently visited the YMCA at the Coatesville location and I had a great experience. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with a variety of equipment and classes to choose from. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and I love the community atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a workout, swim, or just a place to relax, the YMCA offers something for everyone. I’ll definitely be back more often.

3 months agoI love that you have options for all ages, and as a mother, I also love that you have space for the kids so we can enjoy a class or run errands. YMCA is not just a club is a support system.
