a month agoPretty clean, calm & historical. I liked the walk around the park visiting historical places great soldiers stayed over centuries ago. They are still well maintained and looks stronger still. Sunset view was amazing too. Nice place for picnic with friends and family and if you enjoy walk or bike it’s more fun to be

3 months agoHave been going to this park since I was little. While small compared to other parks, the history and available space makes it a personal favorite. You get the quiet from Plumb trail which makes it very accessible. Come here for the patriotism with the Memorial Arch and stay for the nature.

2 months agoA wonderful (and free) way to spend an afternoon. We did a self-guided drive around the site but there is a 90 min guided bus tour. Be prepared to fall down a Revolutionary War rabbithole. 10/10 recommend.

4 months agoFree admission to this National Historic Site. Informative interpretative signs that help tell about this area when it was George Washington's Army winter encampment. Good size park. Easy to access off of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. National Park Service employees were friendly and informative.

6 months agoPlace is huge. Plenty of places to park around each monument area if you don’t have time to walk everywhere. Woulda took me hours to talk the whole place. Gotta buy a bike or get good at running to get around whole place. Saw a few wedding photographers and groups taking pics. They kept asking us to move so we weren’t in background. But photographers supposed to know photoshop. I guess it’s cheaper to not do, it idk? But got a lot of steps in here. Some of the cabins have historical stuff also. The visitor center was closed cause the government shut down!!! Had to find another place at Wawa to use the bathroom!!!
