Do people even stop and read anymore. This inscription, "Freedom is a light for which many men have died in Darkness,' is so profound. We take this for granted every day. I am proud that I was able to take my boys to see this!

We took a long driving trip to Philadelphia last summer to see the Liberty Bell and other historic sites. While walking around, we found the Statue of the Unknown Revolutionary War Soldier. A very nice statute representing a moment in history we should always remember.

Spooky historic tour in Philadelphia? Sign me up! Ghostly tours are always so much fun, one of the sites was the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The eternal flame that flickers in front of the tomb added to the ambience to the tour. Such a vibe! Being from Philly, this was such a cool experience. If you're looking for something different to do, I highly recommend a ghostly tour before going out to eat or drinks!

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the Revolutionary War. Definitely worth stopping by to check out, with the added bonus being the park is really nice and offers plenty of seating.
