Radnor Memorial Library Junior Programmers

The librarian with short hair who works in the youth section is very unfriendly toward children. She frequently appears annoyed by kid’s noising presence. When the children make a mess, she complains about them to her coworkers. She has also prevented children from participating in activities by strictly enforcing registration policies. A public library should be welcoming to all members of the community, especially children, and her behavior does not reflect that expectation.

I've consistently encountered unwelcoming behavior from Randor Township Library front desk staff. When seeking help; I'm met with Attitude, excessive conversation behind the desk, Judgmental reminders of past interactions with a disrespectful tone, overly serious record- keeping influencing current decisions. As a none-primary demographic patrons, I face unequal treatment and attitude from RTL staff. The director's response to concerns lacks impactful change, perpetuating existing biases in a slightly different format. Their approach is overly aggressive resembling, an FBI or Credit Agencies interrogation. The Library can seriously benefit from race and age diversity among their staff and customer service training to improve patron interactions and being able to make the whole experience more of a happy one especially for parents with young children regardless of the situation.

This library has everything you need. Radnor library is in the Delaware county library system, yes you read that right. Radnor is in Delaware county, sorry Radnorians but you’re from delco. Library was recently remodeled and offers all the amenities, conference rooms and private rooms you can reserve. A vast array of books of course and many cool places to sit and read or work on your device. Kids sections is totally awesome too. Visit this library you won’t be disappointed.

I have been taking my kids to this library for several years now. Always love going for the activities!

Great library! An amazing place to go with kids too. Lots of children's books, play area and programs for all ages. Super friendly and helpful stuff!
