Camp Around the Corner at Penn Wynne Presbyterian School

Our family has been part of this preschool community for the past four years, with multiple children attending and more who will be enrolling in the future. From the very beginning, it has truly felt like a family-like community. The teachers and staff are incredibly caring, dedicated, and hardworking, and it’s clear how much they genuinely love and invest in the children. The Pre-K program does a wonderful job preparing kids for kindergarten, building both academic skills and confidence in a developmentally appropriate way. The kindergarten program, in particular, is highly, highly recommended. The kindergarten teachers are absolutely amazing—kind, patient, and deeply caring, while also encouraging the children to really learn and grow. They strike the perfect balance of gently pushing the kids academically while still making learning enjoyable and age-appropriate. The small class size is ideal for this age, allowing for individualized attention and strong teacher-student relationships. On top of all of that, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of education and care provided. We cannot recommend this school highly enough and are grateful to be part of such a wonderful community. We will happily be sending more of our children here in the future.

This school is such a special place. We’ve sent both our children for preschool, Pre-K, and summer camp since fall 2022, and we wholeheartedly recommend each program. The teachers are warm, welcoming, and kind. The families are friendly and down to earth. PWP is a diverse, inclusive, and nurturing community. We feel so lucky to have found this school and cannot recommend it highly enough.

I love this place! We had a great first experience when our son (who had been diagnosed with autism) started. His teacher was on the ball (knew his IEP backwards and forwards) and helped us advocate for getting him services through the county. They did everything they could to accommodate his needs. My daughter now attends here as well. While my son has now moved onto elementary school, they still ask about him and are excited to see him when he’s there to drop off or pick up his sister. My daughter loves it here as well. The community of teachers and parents is amazing and I wish we could take this place & community with us as our children grow. I have no qualms about entrusting them with the care and education of our children, the teachers and staff actually care. I will be sad when we have to move on!

Penn Wynnewood Presbyterian is an awesome school. They are all caring loving bunch who keep you informed at all times with photos, positive attributes and not so positive ones. It is evident in the care they have for my child because I can hear it in the things my child says at home. She will often have encouraging or caring things to say while at home that I know she received at school. If you want a school that cares for your child the way you think they deserve and who is preparing them well for kindergarten first grade, this is the place. Everyday I am so impressed with how they conduct this school.

Our kids have attended both Explorers and Latchkey for three separate school years now. The teachers are caring and kind. It's a good sign that when we come to pick them up each night, they are sad that they can't stay longer. We've also worked with Kimberly to adjust our weekly schedule multiple times and she has been very accommodating. Highly recommend!
