A wonderful, iconic place to visit local American history and explore nature. The Newlin Mill is 160 Acres in historic Concord Township, Delaware County, PA. The Grist Mill dates to 1704, established by the Newlin Family and now maintained by a dedicated staff, volunteers and an active board of trustees. Their is something for everyone, i.e., historic buildings, working mill, blacksmith shop, picnic space, ball field, fly fishing weirs and miles of hiking trails to name just a few. Of special interest is the frog ponds with boardwalks that meander through the ponds to get one up close and personal with the habitat.

This spot has some great history of the surrounding area. Has a few hiking trails that are well maintained. Has a great spot to take a break and enjoy the water falls. Most trails are definitely doable for little ones! I came during the week but apparently on Saturdays, they do tours with blacksmiths and archaeologists. Only negative is the views of the creek are a little obscured because of overgrowth.
