Loved our visit during their holiday display. Gorgeous long-lived trees lining every walkway into the grounds. Extensive decorations and fun holiday displays inside the main building. I really enjoyed the orchid room and the bonsai house. Lots of places to sit and just enjoy the views as well. Will need to come visit when it's warmer and do a full tour of the grounds again to see what it looks like with all the fountains running and plants in bloom.

Wow wow wow!!!!! This was AMAZING!!!! Loved the massive amount of poinsettia plants inside the building. The displays were immaculate and intentional and different as you went through. There were poinsettia of all colors, red, white, Pink, marble, coral, yellow. Amazing!!!! I wish at the end of the season (Jan 11th) they donated them or gave them away or even let me pay $5 for them. But instead they unfortunately go to the compost pile. 😭😭😭 I love the organ being played inside and getting to see it behind the wall. So cool. The rooms are all so different and beautiful with trees. The outdoor water light show to music was crafted very nicely. I also loved the tunnel of lights in 2025. Everything is just so so nice! Can't wait to come back at different seasons of the year. I also appreciate the discounted tickets for EBT/SNAP families.

The gardens in the conservatory are really superb during the Christmas season. We especially appreciated the indoor gardens because it was bitterly cold on New Years Day 2026. The Rain Forrest building was even more inviting, with the much higher level The real star of the day was walking among the Christmas lights display along the grounds. Just about every tree was lit up, music playing, and animated light displays. Longwood has several cafes & restaurants, though we didn’t have time to visit any of them. The restrooms in the conservatory were top notch single occupant facilities and they were located in a beautiful, curving hallway where every surface was covered with greenery. You can also take a tour of the DuPont home on the grounds. The gift shop was nice, though a majority of the items were a bit overpriced. There were a few bargain small plants that were unexpectedly priced very reasonably. Be prepared for a lot of walling, so wear comfortable flat footwear. If you visit at this time of year then you really need to wear a hooded jacket or ski cap (the gift shop sells those at an elevated price) and a scarf (yes, the gift shop sells those too, if you can afford cashmere). I think we will come back again, but at a warmer time if the year. Enjoy!

Absolutely beautiful, breathtaking, peaceful. My sister and I visited for my birthday which was a week before Christmas. We were there during the day so we didn't get to experience all of the lights, but at the time we were there is was not busy so it was really quiet which made it even more special!

★★★★★ Longwood Gardens is truly one of the most breathtaking places you can visit. Every time I go, I’m blown away by how beautifully maintained the gardens are and how much care goes into every detail. From the vibrant seasonal flower displays to the peaceful tree-lined paths, there’s something inspiring around every corner. The conservatory is absolutely stunning, especially in the winter when stepping inside feels like entering another world. The fountains are another highlight—carefully choreographed and mesmerizing, whether you visit during the day or stay for an evening show. What I love most is that it offers something for everyone. It’s perfect for photographers, families, date nights, or even just a quiet solo walk to reset and recharge. The grounds are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed so you never feel rushed. If you’re anywhere near southeastern Pennsylvania, this is a must-visit destination. Longwood Gardens is more than just a garden—it’s an experience you’ll want to return to again and again.
