Downingtown Area Recreation Consortium (DARC)

Signed my daughter up for an art camp. She was 6 and the youngest one there. Her friends told me they were signing up and they never did. We get there on Day 1 and my 6 year old knows no one, is the youngest kid there, is scared and shy, cries and won't go in. DARC refused to give me a refund AND the "supervisor" didn't even have the guts to tell me herself - she made the young girl answering the phone be the messenger. Zero empathy, customer service, just greed and lack of caring from this group. Don't sign for kids up for anything run by this dying organization especially if it's something you are not certain they will like.

Went there to purchase family tickets for the piers in Wildwood NJ. Was over charged the price listed on their own paper. I called and made them aware of the mistake they confirmed the mistake. Turns out instead of the promised refund....they charged my card again for the refund amount. It took two drives to DARC with proof of both mistakes and even then the girl at the counter seemed confused and went into the back to speak with someone. 20 min later I finally received my refund. I'll think twice before purchasing anything from this location out of the sheer inconvenience the entire process turned out to be.

DARC is amazing! Not only are the area rentals easy to reserve, their staff is incredible responding with questions! After a last minute change to a party planned, Nicole answered the phone after shift in the middle of her dinner and helped me sort it out in 15 mins! THANK YOU NICOLE!!!!

The counselors are mature and responsible. The management is top notch. DARC has many fun activities and is always taking our children someplace fun and also at times educational. Mike Serzan and Scott VanCleave have always addressed any concerns head on and with professionalism. I recommend DARC summer camp at Allstar Baseball Academy.

We have been to Broadway, Washington, DC., Annapolis,MD, St. Michaels's,MD, Radio City Music Hall,and more. And these are just the trips. All were well organized and a care free pleasurable time. If I had to drive to places like NYC, I would still be wanting to get there. These trips offered by DARK made it easy to travel and just enjoy.
