Great place to walk and wonderful views. Very well maintained . Always enjoyable goes into manayunk stop for a coffee or bite after the trail.

Great trailhead, a bit hidden without major signage and only 20 cars can park or so. The trail goes on for miles with a choice of road or gravel which is great for runners. All flat trail, not the best for birdwatching but there are some around to see still.

This is the site of the old Barmouth train station which was open from - to - and provided access to the West Laurel Hill Cemetery for commuters from Philadelphia who would visit cemeteries for recreation in green spaces.

pretty rudimentary trail head with a stone base parking lot with not much more room than 15 cars, but it never seems to be that crowded, it has a narrow gate you have to proceed through to get on the actual paved trail. That’s about all I have to say.

All this trail several times very pleasant and scenic.
