Children's Poetry Theater

Children's Poetry Theater is a wonderful new addition to downtown Narberth! Our daughter really enjoyed the Spring workshop with Jacque - we appeciated that Jacque worked with our daughter to build her confidence and ensure she had a positive experience. Jacque is truly a talented artist and is passionate about bringing a unique art form to children. It's such a creative and magical space for kids - I highly recommend it.

Ms. Jacque has created the most ethereal, whimsical space for kids to learn and appreciate poetry. This gem of a spot in Narberth is the perfect spot for your little boy or girl to be introduced to the art form and get to perform it. Bonus that the kids get to participate in set and costume design, all engineered by the extraordinary Ms. Jacque. Our ten year old loved her experience and has asked to come back. :-)

Poetry Theater is a special place where kids enjoy learning and memorizing poems, dressing up and creating a beautiful show, and performing at the end of the session. They learn that words can be used in a creative, beautiful way that’s completely understandable but different from writing prose or performing a traditional play. My daughter is so proud of memorizing the lines and often quotes lines of poems she’s learned with Jacque if we come across a plant or occasion that reminds her of Poetry Theater.
