🍼 Babies & Toddlers Programs on the Main Line
Ages 0–3
The first three years are prime time for music, movement, and sensory play, and the Main Line has no shortage of options for families with young children. Story times at Lower Merion Library System and Chester County Library branches run multiple sessions each week, with dedicated slots for babies and infants as well as toddler story times for ages 2 and up.
Parent-child music classes, swim lessons, and movement programs are available throughout the area. Little Gym and My Gym franchises offer structured play and gymnastics for kids as young as a few months old. Riverbend Environmental Education Center's Budding Naturalists program serves toddlers in Gladwyne and Wayne with outdoor nature exploration.
Most programs in this age group require a parent to participate, so look for "parent-child" or "caregiver-and-me" language in the program description. Registration for popular toddler programs, especially library story times and swim lessons, fills fast. Sign up as soon as registration opens.
