Calendar - Malvern Library

Very nice, small but curated. Many things for young people. Very friendly librarians. Community room and places to work.

What a cute little little library! It is definitely tiny but clean and very organized and not busy. The kids section is great for small children. They have a great kids program with a cute room to read books to small children. They had coloring pages and "Grab and Go" art kits for the kids. My kids also loves the kids computer games. You can register for Storytime on their website.

The place is clean and well kept. The librarians were very nice and humble. Answered all your questions and the checkout process was quick and easy. The children's area inside the library is nice and the kids had great time

Very nice library, but I’ve had a number of experiences here where the librarians seem annoyed and put out by basic questions. Once I asked about how much it cost to take out a movie and was snickered at. Recently when my child approached the counter to take out a book the librarian checking him out was condescending to him and clearly irritated. After checking a book out, we went back to get another and she acted like it was a big inconvenience. Librarians should be warm and encouraging to children, as we want them to keep coming back to the library and reading more.

The library itself is very nice but some staff can be very dismissive and condescending. I went to get a library card and the librarian was mean, grumpy and agresive in her tone when I asked basic questions on how to get one. They should really evaluate their staff. It is such a nice spot in Malvern and as a local in the borough I don’t want other visitors experience to be tainted but some unwelcoming staff.
